3. Personal Data Retention

In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled.
However, if retention is required by applicable laws and regulations, we retain personal information for a certain period as prescribed by the relevant laws.

4. Procedures and methods for the Deletion of Personal Information

In principle, we destroy personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. The procedures and methods for deletion are as follows :


a. Deletion Procedures

Personal information provided by members during registration or through other means is transferred to a separate database (or, in the case of paper documents, stored in a separate filing system) after the purpose of collection has been achieved. Such information is retained for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations (see “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information”) and is then deleted.
Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for any purpose other than retention, unless otherwise required by law.


b. Deletion Methods

Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technology that when used, it is irrecoverable.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

In principle, we do not provide users’ personal information to third parties. However, exceptions are made in the following cases :

1. Where the user has given prior consent.
2. Where disclosure is required by applicable laws or regulations, or where investigative authorities request such information in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes.

6. Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information

We do not outsource the processing of users’ personal information to third-party service providers without the users’ consent. If such a need arises in the future, we will notify users of the outsourced party and the scope of the outsourced services and, where required, obtain prior consent.

7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives

Users may, at any time, access or modify their registered personal information, or request the termination of their membership.
To view or update personal information, users may click “Edit Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Information”, etc.). To withdraw consent or terminate membership, users may click “Membership Withdrawal” and complete the identity verification process, after which they may directly access, correct, or delete their information.
Alternatively, users may contact the Personal Information Manager in writing or by email, and we will act without delay.
Personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the user’s request is processed in accordance with “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information” and is not accessed or used for any other purpose.
